Founded by Emmy Award-winning technology exec Gary Oberbrunner, the President/CEO of Dark Star Systems Inc., BioViz Studio is a video editing and 3D animation software that allows scientists and researchers to present molecule reactions in a single-page web app.
TangibleCodes brought the product to life, creating the entire UX/UI in Figma and building out the frontend to keep BioViz Studio as easy to use as possible. We prioritized simplicity and security — from importing one’s own data or pulling from the RCSB PDB databank to keeping all data secure via bank-level encryption.
Together with BioViz Studio, we compressed a lengthy process into a quick tool that saves hundreds of dollars — by enabling scientists to create their own videos in just twenty minutes, no software or external animation studio needed. Everything happens in the browser, and renders are done automatically.
